We are looking for dedicated Community Support Workers to work in Oakham (Rutland) to help adults with learning disabilities live a fulfilled life by making a difference in their lives.
As a Community Support Worker, you will be expected to support the residents in their own home in the supported living service where you will work as part of a team to help the residents with their day-to-day lives. You may also be working with residents living in the community in their own homes where you will be expected to support them to live independent lives.
As a Community Support Worker, you may also find yourself working in the day service (activity centre) where you will be able to join adults with learning disabilities participate in various activities which can either be on site or off site. You’ll be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.
Do you have experience working in care as Carer, Support Worker or Health Care Assistant, we want to hear from you. Previous experience is not essential as you’ll receive training tailored to the needs of the people you support, with guidance from your colleagues and supervisors. Various shifts are available.

Requirements of Support workers role
• Positive attitude, motivated and enthusiastic
• Previous experience as a carer, Support Worker or Health Care Assistant.
