We currently have excellent opportunities for Residential Support Workers to join us to work with our clients on temporary, contract or permanent basis.
We are looking for motivated and energetic candidates who have a passion and drive to support children and young people aged between 8 and 18, who are in need of support and guidance.
Many of our clients’ homes are EBD based and are looking for Residential Support Workers to help support children and young people to reach their potentials.
We are looking for committed individuals with experience of effectively supporting children and young people in a number of settings, but mainly their residences and excursions.
A proven ability to care for and relate to children and young people is essential, as well as being able to work as part of a team.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
Your most significant contribution is that of a professional parent, nurturing and caring for the young people looked after by our clients.
You will take a child-centred approach in providing high quality care that will enable each child and young person to grow and develop healthily.
You will implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries necessary for the creation of a safe and secure environment necessary for each young person to flourish.
You will promote and support the young people in leading a life of positive development by providing a safe and nurturing environment.
A vital part of your role will be providing the young people with emotional and social support, helping them to develop meaningful relationships with other children and adults, as well as encouraging them to become involved with local communities.
You will encourage and enable each young person’s self esteem to be raised in a positive manner and ensure that they are respected and valued.

Drivers license is required due to the location of some of the homes, it is however not essential for this position.
